I've been on this carnivore diet journey for a while now. It's been an experience filled with surprising twists and turns. Sometimes, I feel like a culinary Indiana Jones, braving the wild unknowns of an all-meat realm. And today, I've got another intriguing topic to explore with you: fish oil on a carnivore diet. Yes, you read that right. Buckle up!

Now, you've probably heard whispers around the fish oil campfire, right? It's a superfood, it's a must-have supplement, and it's excellent for your joints and ligaments. You've heard the drill. But hold up. If you're like me, and you've been savouring the carnivorous side of life, you might be wondering if fish oil has a place on your plate.

Here's my stance: I believe in the power of a varied carnivore diet to give us all the nutrients we need. My body is running on premium-grade steaks, juicy roasts, and yes, a can of tuna every now and then for a taste of the sea. As a result, I've been shying away from supplements of any kind, and I've been feeling great. Do I really need to fish around for some oil?

I don't wake up with creaky joints or ligaments. My system seems pretty happy with its current protein-rich routine. So, is fish oil a boon or a bust? Do we carnivores need to reel it in or throw it back?

Interestingly, many experts are on the fish oil bandwagon. They swear by its omega-3 content and potential anti-inflammatory properties. Okay, fair enough. But what about those of us happily swimming in a sea of ribeyes and pork belly?

Remember when I talked about how canned tuna fits into my carnivore diet? Well, guess what? Fish like tuna come with their own natural helping of omega-3s. It's like nature's little gift with every mouthful.

"But Seb," you might say, "I'm not a big fan of seafood." Don't worry, friend. You're not alone. Some people just can't get past the 'fishiness'. But here's the thing. A lot of carnivores do enjoy seafood. Remember, we're in this together - variety is the spice of a carnivore's life. I once wrote a piece on whether you can really eat fish on a carnivore diet, and it seems many of us are keen on this option.

But back to our main question: to fish oil or not to fish oil? Honestly, I'm still on the fence. If you're feeling great, moving well, and your diet is varied with different animal products, do we need a fish oil supplement?

Ultimately, it's about understanding your own body and its needs. As always, my advice is to keep experimenting and learning. After all, isn't that what life's all about?

Well, that's enough from me for now. Remember, this is a conversation, not a monologue. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Are you taking fish oil while on a carnivore diet? How does it make you feel?

Until then, let's keep fishing for answers and, as I always say, stay hungry my friends!
